After leaving college I started out as a professional in the corporate world, but left it all to pursue my interest in the beauty industry. I both attended and taught at the prestigious Lu Ross Academy of Esthetics in Ventura, California. For the past 18 years I have worked at a number of exclusive salons in the Ventura and Los Angeles area, including the well-known Allen Edwards Salon in Woodland Hills.​
 

Making other people feel relaxed and good about themselves is the primary reason I was drawn to this industry. Although I have extensive expertise to provide a variety of skin care services, I have focused my attention on providing a specialized waxing service in an industry that largely lacks qualified/trained speed waxers.
